I am starting to look for a service dog to help me and was wondering do you know how big these mix breed dogs will be full grown? I need a dog somewhere in the 90-110 lb range to help me. Also how easy is it to train one of these? Is this the first 1/2-1/2 litter you have had and also do you plan on breeding this mix again at a latter date (I might not have all my ducks in a row to get one when you have stated they should be ready.
These dogs should be anywhere between 80 and 120 pounds. Both parents are about 80-90 pounds.
This is our first litter of the mix. We are breeding again next year, and I do have a wait list going if you’d like to be added. As for training, I plan to do follow-up with the new owners of this litter. There are two-three puppies out of this litter that I would have chosen as potential service dogs. I am going to ask the new owners if they would assist me with follow-up. I think these puppies will be great, and would like to be able to offer good potential service dogs at a much cheaper price then most. The puppies that I have identified show more of the GSD traits. If you decide you would rather have a purebred GSD, we will be planning a litter in 2015, and hope to have one in the next year as well, but are not certain about that one. Our GSD’s are $400.
When will they be ready?
They should be ready by September 6th, if not a week earlier!
